Really good company to deal with

I have been using Cashmere mugs for many years, and liked them so much I felt it was worth waiting many months for my order to be fulfilled. But this batch varies in size from the earlier ones, one has a brown blemish in the glaze, and all are staining in the lower half (I don't brew tea in the mug). Even the handle shapes differ slightly. Not a good purchase, and one that I will not be repeating.

After waiting such a long time for these they finally arrived not really matching those we were hoping they would. These cups are around 3 or 4 mm taller, 5mm larger in diameter and most significantly weigh around 240 grammes per cup versus around 180 grammes for the old ones. So same style but really not the same sitting side by side on the shelf and importantly not the same ‘thin bone China’ needed to keep the water warm and make a good cup of tea.

Great quality simple mug, had them now for 15 years and counting, just need to top up the quantity due to breakages.

I love these. I had the whole dinner service when I lived in NZ years ago. Maxwell and Williams Cashmere is fine elegant bone china that is durable and tough, a treat to use every day
