The Oaked Chardonnay glass is perfect to reveal the intensity of full-bodied white wines, including the wine's multi-layered aromas. With a larger volume, the wide open-mouthed bowl enables the rich bouquet to develop its wonderfully diverse range of aromas, emphasising the finesse while minimising the risk of richer style white wines becoming over-concentrated.

As part of the Performance series, this shape was re-developed in 2018 for better aromatics.This piece is produced with clear crystal. RIEDEL Performance is the first wine glass series ever to feature bowls with a light optic impact for better aromatics.

What is optic impact?

The detailing around the rim of the glass is known as Optic Impact and not only adds a pleasing visual aspect to the bowl, but also increases the inner surface area, allowing the wine to open up to highlight every aroma and subtle nuance.
