Probably the most pleasant "Big mug" on the market very comfortable to hold when full as the handle design is plentiful and upright so supporting the weight of the full vessel does not try "roll" out of your hand. The quality of the wedgwood "bone china" is not what it was when i first purchased this same item five years ago. thick china. Good quality bone china should be fine (thin), not thick. The firing has uneven glaze as it has been "short fired" (aka: manufactured in a rush): in short Wedgwood potteries has gone to the dogs along with so many other famous english brands. Jasper Conran has a great eye for classical period design but his choice of manufacturer should switch to Meissen who can still mass produce quality product.
