The Start of a New Era at Havens
After a year long journey to achieve the necessary planning permission for change of use and listed building consent we are now delighted that Age Concern will be in the building from Tuesday 3rd July 2018 developing and planning for their Community Centre.
The Retail Store will finally close after 117 years

The Havens family has traded in Hamlet Court Road since 1901 so it is fair to say that we know a bit about it.

A decision has been made not to redevelop the Chinacraft of London website and that all future orders and requirements will be dealt with through

Havens has been fulfilling all Chinacraft orders since 2013 and are specialists in China, Glass, Cutlery and Homewares since 1901.
Most of the key Chinacraft brands are on the Havens website including Richard Ginori,
We are receiving interest from entrepreneurs who make or sell product through social media and other online channels who would like to showroom their ideas and products. Whilst in the past this is not something we have really considered, in this ever changing “gig” sharing society we now live in, we have to give it worthy consideration.

As we near the end of another very busy, successful and indeed stressful Christmas Trading period it remains for us to Thank all our loyal customers for choosing Havens to buy your Christmas presents. Without your support, small family businesses like Havens cannot survive.

Well our beautiful building has been Grade 2 listed and I am not sure if it is good news or not! Yes the building has architectural merit but it was designed and re built in 1935 in an era pre cars, pre shopping centre and pre internet.
