A New Era For the Havens Building

The Start of a New Era at Havens

After a year long journey to achieve the necessary planning permission for change of use and listed building consent we are now delighted that Age Concern will be in the building from Tuesday 3rd July 2018 developing and planning for their Community Centre.

The Retail Store will finally close after 117 years of continuous trading on Friday 26th June 2018.

It truly is a bitter-sweet moment but all businesses have to make changes as Consumer demands change and to look forward not backwards.

As part of the deal Havens will retain the 2nd floor from where we will continue to seamlessly conduct our on-line business through and

As well as sending Fine China, Crystal glassware, Cutlery, Housewares, Collectibles and Giftware both home and Worldwide we will be providing a click and collect service for our local customers and those that just want to come to see us.

Please note there will no longer be a showroom to visit although Age Concern plan to have a Tearoom open to the public in the future.

We look forward to continuing to serve our Loyal customers worldwide and can assure you that our on-line business will continue exactly as it has done since we first went on-line in 1999.
