Southend International Street painting and Festival of the Arts comes to Hamlet Court Road, Westcliff-on-sea, Essex.
Saturday 16th July 2011 10am to 10pm
Inspired by the Lake Worth Street painting festival and brought to the UK by the 3 Way Split Project, Hamlet Court Road will be turned into a veritable artists canvas as street artists transform the tarmac with their artistic skills.
The road will be closed from Canewdon Road in the south to Anerley Road in the north to allow this unique Festival to spring to life.
As well as the Artists it is an opportunity to hear some of Southend’s best bands and MC’s perform.
The live music will be performed by Bom Zhivagos, Adam Fierce, Unique Music, John Gamblin, Xeric, Clive Cowen, Laurie Taylor and more!
Thanks to Anna Heim and her colleagues in Lake Worth for their foresight and her tenacity in getting this festival together.
Let’s hope for a great day on Saturday 16th July.
