The Waterford John Rocha Signature glass range is a high quality crystal product. The modern cut lines are hand cut and the larger than average Wine glasses feel heavy in the hand.
John Rocha is the name that evokes simple elegance and clean, contemporary style and vision. John Rocha was born in Hong Kong of Chinese and Portuguese descent. He studied fashion in London during the 1970's before moving and settling in Dublin Ireland during the 1980's.
His affinity with the Irish way of life led to his glass design collaboration with the Waterford Crystal factory. The earliest John Rocha crystal patterns of Signature and Geo are still the best selling wine glass patterns we stock, moving from contemporary masterpieces to become Waterford Heritage Crystal.
Since the Waterford Wedgwood Group WWRD closed the Waterford Crystal factory in Kilbarry Ireland in March 2009 all product is now produced in quality European Crystal factories to Waterford's exacting standards. Following this transition there will be a very slight variance in the cut and sizing of some glasses, this will only be noticeable on very close examination and does not affect all glasses.
