The Royal Collection is proud to announce the official range of commemorative china to celebrate the marriage of Prince William of Wales to Catherine Middleton on 29th April 2011 at Westminster Abbey.
This elegant design commissioned by The Royal Collection is contemporary in style and consists of doves, white ribbons, and hearts in silver, gold and grey, with a pale grey striped background. In the centre is a monogram in gold and silver of the intertwined initials of William and Catherine surmounted by the coronet of Prince William of Wales. Also included within the design are two silver doves with a gold wedding ring.
The china is entirely hand made in England using traditional methods unchanged for over 250 years. The decoration is built up in several layers containing self burnished gold, platinum and raised enamels before final gilding, by hand, using 22 carat gold. Each item proudly features the Made in England back stamp on its base.
Wrapped in delicate white tissue featuring designs inspired by the wall hangings of Clarence House, each piece is supplied in an individual gift box containing a small descriptive leaflet describing the inspiration behind the beautiful design.
The Royal Collection China is perfect as a gift or for collectors of Royal Family memorabilia and commemoratives.
