We would just like to apologise to all those customers that struggled to complete their orders online as our secure payment gateway suffered down time yesterday Thursday 3rd March.
I know from your phone calls how frustrating it can be, it is just as frustrating for us too as orders slip by!
The system from a customer perspective is now working again, we are still having some issues our end processing the payments but hope that this will be resolved.
From our perspective it shows the reliance we have on third party providers and their systems. Sage Pay is an international company, it’s back up systems should be better so that down time is mitigated, an issue we shall be taking up with them- again!
